Neopets Celebration: In order to celebrate Neopets's birthday, each year new celebration goodie bags and birthday cake are made. You can only get the newest cakes and goodiebags, the older one's retire as the year has passed by, but they are shown below anyway. Inside the goodie bags are some small toys for your pet to play with.
On most pages of Neopets, you have a slim chance of receiving a random event! They pop up, randomly of course, and can award you with something, take something away, or just give a nice greeting. A full listing is below, broken down over five pages.

If you see a random event with a 'Poof!' image, hover your mouse over the image to see what the image normally is.
Note: In an editorial question, it was confirmed that all pet colour-changing events only target your active Neopet. If you want to protect a rare pet from those types of random events, do not set them as your active!
Good Events - Items
Something has happened!
Coltzan's beloved pet, Sparky, has ascended. In honour of Sparky, Coltzan has presented you with a winged likeness of his beloved Petpet. [Effect: You get a Sparky. This event first appeared on August 28, 2013, at Coltzan's Shrine, in honour of the passing the previous afternoon of the Neopets artist's real-life dog who inspired the Spardel. It is still active.]

Victory awaits, if you're prepared! Equip your Neopet with this weapon before you charge into battle or they may end up black and blue. [Effect: You now have an Obsidian Dagger. It is in your inventory but not equipped to your Neopet. This occurs if you try to enter an unequipped pet into a Battledome battle.]
