Across the lands of Neopia lie buried treasures and hidden locations, long forgotten but not quite lost. If you have the skills and resources to seek them out, you just might be able to assemble the scattered pieces of treasure maps pointing to these places... but will what you find be worth the risk?
Let the hunt begin!
How to Play
While Treasure Maps is part of the Games Room, it isn't a game in the traditional sense. Unlike other games on the site, to 'play' you must collect a set of items (maps, usually purchased from other users), which you can then redeem for Neopoints, items, and other special prizes on the Treasure Maps page.
Locating individual map pieces can be somewhat difficult, however, due to the fact that all pieces of a given map will have the same item name. The Original Map, for example, is made up of nine items, each called Piece of a treasure map. If you're having trouble finding a specific piece, instead find a user selling other pieces of the same map for a reasonable price; they will often have several different pieces of that map available.
To turn in a completed map, visit the Treasure Hunt page for that specific map with all nine pieces in your inventory. You'll see an option to turn in the nine pieces.
All map pieces are one use. Once you turn in a set and receive your prizes, you will not be able to retrieve the pieces or resell them.
You can click on any of the map pieces found in this guide to view them in the Item Database.

Treasure Hunt
Benjamin the Chia may know where your next clue is...
In the past, Treasure Maps was paired with another game, known as Treasure Hunt. In this game, a mysterious Shoyru would give you clues leading to various locations in Neopia, with the clues becoming more cryptic (and even scrambled) as you progressed. Eventually, one of the clues would lead you to a treasure map piece, which could be used in Treasure Maps.
